Facilities

Classrooms, offices, and both teaching and research labs can be found in the nine buildings housing the College. Our most recent building was opened in Spring 2007 and contains our Department of Computer Science. This building contains both a Windows NT Lab and a Video Game Design and Development Lab.

The faculty do their research not only in their personal labs but also in a number of research centers that contain specialized equipment. Faculty often hire undergraduates to work in their labs. The classrooms include a growing number of so called “smart” classrooms that include internet connections, document cameras, and other presentation equipment.

In addition to various centers, the College also controls a herbarium with over 124,000 specimans, a number of greenhouses, and the Cade experimental farm. The facilities for the College of sciences are both state-of-the-art and plentiful.
